One of the best lessons I have learned is that everyone around me is better off when I put myself first. I am a very empathic person so I have had the unhealthy practice of putting others and their needs and expectations above my own. Well when I realized that I needed to be my children's mother's best friend and loudest cheerleader there was a shift in my life. Many people observe what we do and how we do it. When you put yourself first and come from a place that sets boundaries and honors the significance of self you can't go wrong. This is a great step to walking to being a whole authentic being. And if they don't like SO WHAT... YOU PUT YOURSELF FIRST AND YOU SHOULD LOVE THAT!!!
